Dear residents and businesses of New Westminster,

Please be advised we will be doing some work on Quayside Drive next week, November 2-6, that will require single-lane alternating traffic between Begbie Street and the Fraser River Discovery Centre between 7:00am and 5:00pm each day. The road will be returned to two-way traffic at the end of each day. There will be a diverted path for pedestrians around the construction zone. Please obey all signs and traffic control personnel at all times.
We are doing this work to improve the accessible ramp on the north side of the crosswalk on Quayside Drive at the Fraser River Discovery Centre.
Thank you as always for your patience and understanding while we complete this important work. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Dear residents and businesses of New Westminster,

The 6th Street pedestrian overpass and ramp to Westminster Pier Park will be OPEN tomorrow, July 31st! Look for the directional wayfinding signs to get you there. The pedestrian path through our construction site will remain open for the long weekend and will close Tuesday, August 4th.
We are working with the City on additional improvements and on the playground underneath the overpass. We are hoping this work will be complete towards the end of 2020. We will be sure to keep you posted.
Thank you and enjoy the overpass!

Dear residents and businesses of New Westminster,
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding of the work on our site. The delivery and installation of pieces for the 6th Street Overpass last weekend went well.
This notice is about two things happening over the next week:
-
We need to do another period of structural core load testing on Monday and Tuesday next week (June 22 and 23). As before, this testing will involve intermittent periods of increased noise on our site for these two days, currently planned for the afternoon/early evening of the 22nd and the morning of the 23rd. All work will be within our standard working hours.
-
To continue work on the 6th Street Pedestrian Overpass, we will need to use part of Front Street from Friday, June 19 until Friday, June 26. This will mean lane closures and single-lane alternating traffic on Front Street between Begbie Street and 6th Street during this time.
Thank you again. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Dear residents and businesses of New Westminster,
We just wanted to give you a quick update to let you know we are still here and available by phone and email if you have any questions or concerns about our work at 660 Quayside Drive.
We are continuing with construction as much as we are able to during this time while adhering to WorkSafe BC’s health and safety protocols for COVID-19. With the in-river pile driving work completed at the end of February (thank you all for your patience and understanding while we completed that essential work), we are currently anticipating the current noise levels you may be hearing on our site to remain consistent over the next few months. I will be sure to let you know if we expect anything to change with regards to the noise or any other potential impacts this project may have on you.
Thank you everyone. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need.
